  Not nice experience I had with this company! They price themselves as the best in the business but in reality they are as bad as any another company! In the most stressful time of someone life they manage to make my relocation painful and unpleasureful, I don't recommend to anyone and if you hire they services be aware of trap you will get yourself in.

  We used Crown to relocate from Sydney to San Francisco. We were really pleased with the service, communication, and the quality of care shown for our shipment. The movers came into our two bedroom apartment, packed up EVERYTHING in it's place, put it on the truck, and shipped it to the US. Movers came on December 22 and our shipment was delivered to Redwood City on January 31. The total cost for door to door shipment was $10,400 AUD . Unfortunately, we had to pay an additional $280 US for an unexpected customs x-ray in the US but we had been warned ahead of time that this might be a possibility. I would recommend crown to anyone and will use them again for a move.

  Trying to make an insurance claim has been a nightmare - nobody returns emails so I had to search the net for an email address, then I had to deal with multiple people, none of whom were competent. Currently, I'm dealing with someone who can't even get my name right. DO NOT USE CROWN.

  Awful. Charged an incredible amount, packed things their way (after I'd carefully packed everything myself), and unsurprisingly, goods arrived broken. A valuable antique table was absolutely smashed - including the hinges which can only have happened prior to being packed. Wrapping items in a kind of thick paper/cardboard doesn't protect them.

  This is a review based on my observations on how their staff operate. They were moving someone in this morning in an apartment complex I live in at Breakfast Point. They blocked the driveways, blocked hallways, disregarded the common property and most annoying, the building has 2 lifts when I was leaving I inconvenienced them by being the lift going to my car the comment made to me by the removalist was "This is my lift you shouldn't be in here" Bit my tongue and told him the lift is to be shared. All I can say is if they are displaying these behaviours and attitude what level of care will them demonstrate for your goods.

  Disappointing experience and based on my experience with Sharee, Sharon and Linda from NSW Australia, I would NEVER use Crown again. This is unfortunate to say since I've moved with Crown twice before (internationally from America to New Zealand and New Zealand to Australia - which went really smoothly). However, the Sydney team was subpar at best and lazy at worst. Moving overseas it's extremely stressful. We're navigating visas, jobs changes and moving the contents of our lives. Worrying about is a Crown employee is sick or having to take care of their personal issues or just forgetful doesn't help. We actually had to beg them to take our payment! They also weren't helpful in how to best fill out complicated customs forms and would take 2-3 days to respond back to simply questions like when day and time are arriving to pack up our home. It wasn't until I called the US office to raise my concerns that they seemed someone interested in helping. I understand that people are laid back but Crown is a global company so customers do expect the same excellent service. Sadly, Australia is very much at the bottom compare to the other countries I've had to move to & from with Crown.
